WHAT IS KIDS MATTER?
Kids Matter is a free 6-week course for parents of children 0-10.
The Kids Matter parenting course aims to equip parents and carers with the confidence, competence and community needed to build strong families, enabling their children to thrive.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE SESSIONS?
The course Lasts for six weeks (with a taster session before and a booster session three months later). Run by trained peer facilitators in small groups sat together with coffee, tea and cake - of course! Topics explored in the sessions include:
Building a strong family foundation
Creative routines, rewards, and clear family rules
The art of play, encouragement, and active listening
Keeping sight of the bigger picture
