Our hope is that all the kids who come to StoryHouse Church will encounter God, make new friends, and have a lot of fun!

We’ve got a great bunch of kids at StoryHouse Church and we have a lot of fun together on Sundays. We’re committed to making sure people of every age enjoy going to church, so if your kid struggles to sit still then don’t worry, we’ve got lots of space and activities to occupy them and no one is going to stare at you if they make a noise.

StoryHouse Kids meet every Sunday apart from the first Sunday of the month when we have our Sunday celebration service.

We always start church together with a time of worship in the main hall, then before we have a talk in the main hall, there’s a chance to grab another drink and the kids head off to their different groups. At the moment we have 3 StoryHouse Kid’s groups; Bible Tots, for pre-schoolers, StoryHouse Kids, for primary age children up to year 5, and StoryHouse Youth for year 6 upwards. StoryHouse Kids’ church normally lasts around half an hour and it’s filled with games, activities, a story and prayer.

We don’t have a creche, but if you have a baby then you’re welcome to join StoryHouse Bible Tots with them, or if your child is feeling chilled and you want to stay in the main service and listen to the talk, then there are toys and soft mats to hang out with them on whilst you listen to the talk.

If you have children who are in years 7-13, we also have StoryHouse Youth group who meet on Thursday evenings, 7:00 - 8:30 pm during term-time at StoryHouse Coffee Shop.

Music and dancing is a big part of being a StoryHouse Kid so during lockdown the kids have put together a playlist of their favourite songs on our YouTube channel for you to sing and dance along to at home.

All our Kids’ work leaders and helpers are DBS checked and have received Safeguarding training, read our safeguarding policy here
