StoryHouse is a charity set up by St Luke’s Church to benefit the community in Crosby and create a form of church for people who feel like they don’t fit anywhere else

StoryHouse is a coffee shop with a difference. We aim to serve the best coffee on the high street and to help Crosby and the people living here to flourish by buying ethically and locally and by giving a helping hand to other small local businesses.

Life is better in community and there’s no better way of building community than sharing stories over food which is why we opened storyhouse. We absolutely love coffee shops because they’re spaces to chill, to work and to connect with friends, they’re where life happens at a different pace.

All our midweek activities like Storytime, kid’s craft clubs, choirs, quiz nights and Craftivism are designed to help create more spaces for people in the community to gather, get to know each other and express themselves creatively.

StoryHouse Church is another way for us to help the local community of Crosby to flourish. Started by Rev. Dave Lowrie a self-supporting minister in the Church of England and his wife Lizzie with the support of St Luke’s church and the Diocese of Liverpool, StoryHouse church reflects the same creative, chilled-out atmosphere you experience midweek when you pop in for a drink - it also has the best church coffee for miles!!
