What is Alpha?

Alpha is a chance to explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment, each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation.

Who is it for?

Anyone is welcome to come and join us! You may know nothing about Christianity, maybe you were dragged to church as a kid, maybe you’ve been avoiding church for the past few years, or maybe you go to church regularly and just want to spend a bit of time exploring more about what Christianity is about. We create a non-judgemental and open environment where it’s easy for anyone who is an atheist, sceptic or just curious about faith to explore questions of life.

When is it?

Alpha begins on Wednesday 27th September 7:30 - 9pm

Where is it?

Join us in-person at StoryHouse Coffee Shop, L23 9QR for our very own coffees, teas and hot chocolates and a homemade dessert with a chance to meet other people who are exploring or re-engaging with faith.

How does it work?

Each Alpha video is designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and everyone is free to discuss as much or as little as they wish. There's no pressure, no follow up and no charge.
